Während der Laufzeit der Lygia Clark Retrospektive werden ausgewählte Gruppen Performances der Künstlerin regelmäßig im Ausstellungsraum neu interpretiert.

Kollektiver Körper, 1970
Die Teilnehmenden tragen farbenfrohe Overalls, die an verschiedenen Stellen mit einem dünnen Faden zusammengenäht werden. Dadurch ist die individuelle Bewegungsfreiheit einschränkt und zwingt die Personen dazu, sich im Raum als geschlossene Einheit zu bewegen. Diese Performance betont die gegenseitige Abhängigkeit der Personen untereinander. Das Funktionieren als kollektive Identität basiert wesentlich auf dem feinfühligen Abstimmen aller Bewegungen der einzelnen Akteure zueinander.

Collective Body, 1970
The participants wear brightly colored overalls that are sewn to each other at various points with a thin thread. This restricts individual freedom of movement and forces people to move around the space as a cohesive unit. This performance emphasizes people’s interdependence. Essentially, the functioning as a collective identity is based on the sensitive coordination of all the movements of the individual actors.
